Memories & Candles
Dear Karen, Alan, Lynn and Connie
I just heard about your father's death via someone who came into the Temple today, so I'm am sorry to have missed the viewing and service, please forgive me.
I'm sure it was a relief for him and a joyous reunion with your mother and his family.
Please know that my thoughts are with you at this time, but let good things come through the memories and love you share to strengthen you as a family.
Love, Jackie

Dear Alan, Lynn, Karen, and Connie,
We are so sorry to have missed your Dad's funeral. You are all in our hearts at this time. It's amazing to us that he passed away one year to the date of Fay. Just think, if heaven has cards, what a reunion that will be. ha ha But even if they don't have cards, What a reunion for the BBD's!! We love you all. So many memories to even write about but know

Dear Karen, Alan, Lynn and Connie,
So sorry to hear about Uncle Rollie. He was such a good guy. Dad sends his love and regrets for not being able to come. We actually didn't know when the funeral was until late last night. Then none of could rearrange plans. Sorry we didn't at least get to the viewing. We send our love and best to your family.
Love,
Karla (Curt and Jim)

Mother, Helena Brown Watson, last daughter of Jethro Brown, predeceased her cousin Roland by seven months. I have often heard the early stories of the Browns in Farr West. Please accept condolences from our family. These are the last of the dedicated pioneers of our heritage.

Dear Roland Brown Family,
Roland was my supervisor back in the earlly 80's at HAFB...best supervisor in my career. Roland had such a big, soft, generous heart. I was going through a divorce and made the comment to him that I didn't know where I was going to get the next $10 (yes $10) to purchase gasoline for my automobile in which he offered (I didn't accept) to loan me the $10. I have never forgotten his kind offer of help

I'M REAL SORRY FOR YOUR LOST , BUT I REMEMBER THE GOOD TIME WE HAD AS KIDS GROWING UP IN THAT BLOCK. I REMEMBER PLAYING BASKETBALL IN ROLAND DRIVEWAY, I ALWAYS WENT TO THE DOOR TO ASK IF I COULD PLAY BASKETBALL AND HE WOULD ALWAYS SAY , OH YOU CAN PLAY ON IT ANYTIME,[ I WILL MISS HIM AND HIS SMILE.]

Brother Brown was the kindest, most soft-spoken and christ-like man I've had the privilege of knowing. He always had a smile on his face and you knew he loved you and was happy to see you. He did truly love his wife, Florence of whom was a sweetheart and wonderful woman. What a great loss to this world with his passing. But I'm envious because he is going to a world that is filled with much love, kindness and forgiveness. They both deserve that and are going to be missed greatly.
